Accor Australia Promotions

Yes, Accor is rivalling QF on the consistently inconsistent scale!

In my case, I got all of the signature nights credited in April, May and June, before my Explorer renewal at end of June. But I fully expected to only get 15 Explorer nights at that time. Instead, they gave me the full serving of 30, and have not reversed them anywhere 🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♀️ .

I think the 30 night limit applies to stacking of the paid subscription card bonuses only.
That is the Explorer, Voyager and Ibis cards.
I don't think it applies to the Signature bonus nights.
Logically, it can't. Because Signature alone gives you 60 nights per year.
So it would be in breach of the rule by itself.

Always helps to read the terms and conditions of the program rather than guessing:

Status Nights awarded to a Member upon subscribing to or renewing an ALL Accor+ or ALL Signature membership, regardless of the number or type of memberships held, are subject to a maximum limit of 30 (thirty) Status Nights, aggregated across all memberships, for the purpose of determining the Member's annual Status Nights balance.

One other thing is the 10 bonus nights - for those who have already received bonus nights this year, that may come up against the maximum annual credit of 30 bonus nights.
The limit is not part of the ALL program terms and conditions and thus would not be applicable to any promotion bonus nights. It would also not count to the 30 limit as per the terms and conditions outlined in the above post re signature.

Signature did not really give you nights as such. It gives you status points that allow you to get status. These status points show in my status points tally in the app. But then this year, they added “bonus nights” as a new thing and as an Absolute member, I got 3x5 actual night credits, that show in my nights tally on the app. These bonus nights are in addition to the status points. And based on the T&Cs quoted by @markis10 and @serfty and others, I did NOT expect these signature nights to stack with the Explorer nights. But so far, in my account, they have stacked. This is contrary to my expectation, the experience of others like @Tlee, and the T&Cs.

So as per @Human’s post, I think that is very misleading. Of course Accor could say “-15 nights that you were not entitled to count” - but it is pretty poor form when they themselves have counted those nights - at least so far. For 6 months. And even poorer form to let someone think they are within 3 nights of retaining and then find they are actually quite a few nights away. So the real crunch will come when I get the last few nights required to retain Platinum and see what they do.

Now it won’t affect me - because I am going to retain and level up based on status points earned. But it is poor form for sure.

Then how can Signature give 5 nights per month for a total of 60 nights per year?
Noting that as a Diamond member (pre Signature membership) the nights have never been relevant to me.
The program can give you as many as it wants, the wording of the terms suggests that only 30 will be counted at status assessment

We need a data point from someone who would qualify for status on nights but not on points.
Neither you nor I will provide such a data point.
However, I note that my nights are stacking as you describe.
It's not a question of not having read the rules. There is an inconsistency here, and it's a question of seeing how the rules are applied.

There is no other purpose or meaning for the nights.
If they are not counted at status assessment, then they are not really "given" at all.

Yes exactly. Nd that’s why I posted. I have an upcoming stay of 4 nights in Ibis that will take me to 61 nights = Platinum retain on nights. At the time those nights land, I will still be below the status point requirement of 14,000 points. So I would requal on nights at that point (if they are going to count my 15 nights from Signature).

Now I am assuming that they will advise me when that happens that I have retained platinum rather than waiting until year end to tell me that, although I could be wrong about that. Even if it is just that the chart of progress that I posted upthread from the app shows the target reached. I’d be thoroughly annoyed if that happened now in October, and then on 31 December they said oh sorry, you missed it.

I won’t miss it, with the stays booked for Nov and Dec, but if I wasn’t taking my trip to see Seat Son, that might be how it played out.

So hopefully I will be able to provide the data point when it happens - should know by end of Oct.

Here’s my progress again - clearly shows 57 nights -15 of which are doubtful. If I get the remaining 3 what will happen? As it’s Ibis , I won’t move up to 14,000 status points, so it will be a true test of whether they count the nights or not.

Yes that is what actually just happened to me.
I’m keeping the original confirmation email.

It’s all very confusing

So I followed the LL link above which at least got me to the “Register” page but rejected me because I’m already registered for “Fastrack” - I assume that’s the QF auto FT…?

I received the email with the corrected link but still rejecting me.

Has anyone with ALL / QF accounts linked been able to register for this promo?

I’m assuming the auto Fastrack with QF is blocking me? Or am I wrong? Here’s a snap shot of my ALL account (currently ALL Gold / QF WP).

I have replied and given them such a serve. Told them I regret ever signing up for Explorer.

Why do you think it’s Explorer blocking you? I’m thinking it’s the QF/ALL linkage (see my similar post above).
