The Qantas Newbie Questions Thread

Is fare at sales desk will be the same as advertised online?
If I buy a fare on sales desk can they check in for me? Also I think as QF PT there's guarantee Economy Seat right?
I don’t even know if they have a sales desk at the airport? But in any event, it’d be quicker to book and pay on line suspect.

AFAIK Qantas doesn’t offer a seat guarantee for platinum members. Even if they did, it’s unlikely to be available an hour before departure.

I don't think they have sales desks anymore at MEL. You can also book within a couple of minutes online if your browser auto fills your details.

That being said buying a on the day departure for QF can whack you well past $500 one way.

How much is your jetstar business class ticket with the max bundle?

Philippine airlines is offering business class SIN-MNL-SYD for as low as $1900 depending on your dates. That’s with flat beds on the flight to sydney. By the time you add your jetstar + max bundle + qantas domestic… the prices might be similar? And similar total travel time? (Philippine airlines is around 16 hours including transit).

Just checked in at MEL T2 QF international. Not that busy.
QF have a sales/ticketing desk and beside it a service desk, So 2 QF staffers looking bored with nothing to do.

Ah i was thinking of T1 but i guess the Int'l desk can potentially do the work as well.
