Novotel Auckland Airport ... Hotel Upgrade(!)

I dunno. Quite like the lounge at the AKL Pullman. And brekky was infinitely better than hitting the cupboard before QF AKL lounge was upgraded.

Yes the lounge is ok and set service good but why is it only drinks between 5pm and 7pm? Canapes were nice. I thought breakfast was poor to be honest. Rubbish bacon, cheap sausages and supermarket sliced bread. Had better breakfast in Ibis in many countries.

Been a while since I was there *and* had brekky - esp since AKL lounge reopened. Sounds unfortunate it went downhill. Drinks for 2 hours is pretty common in a Pullman lounge in fairness.

Edited to add: even with mediocre food, I'd prefer brekky there to the old cupboard of a first lounge we previously had.
