New Qantas Double status credits offer (book by 2/9/26; travel 3/9/26 until 14/8/27)

Specific - yes, agreed .... However, can the type of viewer change? as in if you had bought a kids ticket, can you take an adult in the kids place?
Remember we’re talking vouchers rather than a “bundle of rights”
Can someone decode this for me please? The double negative does my head in.

Today, I hastily booked for 4 tickets expecting to see 4 different tickets hit my inbox, instead I received 1 ticket for 4 people to the one session. I ran a dummy and the ticket was always wanting me to have 4 patrons to the same movie session. I called the box office and they were able to split it into 4 different tickets which I plan to use later in the year.

AS a data point I bought some tickets back in February. I used them to see a new release last week and it was twice as rewarding.

One of those films where they really give it all away, was it?

Can someone *loosely* explain the process of procuring movie tickets for use at a later date? (happy to accept a DM if anyone can be bothered!)
Anyone happy to explain the movie ticket situation to me aswell? Happy to accept a DM.

Clearly I've missed the concept.

for the first time ever I am not sure what to do with this offer.
I am well over Plat at 2000 SC balance and no hope reaching P1.
And just ticked over LTG.
Select Double points?
What would you do?

Double points if you don’t need the future credits

I’m 6 months through the membership year with forward bookings already made…

What to do, what to do ?
Movie tickets look promising
So then I’ll need 20 of them
Rinse and repeat

Double points if you don’t need the future credits
That's is the question IF I need them or not.
Still not clear when new rules goes life with a portion of the Status Credits (SCs) you earn above your tier requirement will carry into your next membership year, instead of disappearing on your anniversary.
The rollover replaces the old “Loyalty Bonus” system and becomes a permanent feature of the program.
So when exactly this will happen anyone please?

The one caveat on this is that for a double feature booked with movie tickets, the first screening must be in a cinema located in Australia.
However the second screening can be anywhere,
Ok I had a handle on the movie tickets but this one has sort of thrown me- are you able to rephrase?
Is this some sort of inside code like the Pepsi Max thing?
Or “don’t mention the bus”

This is of course entirely off topic but ...
If you have a Qantas voucher - of any kid, for any reason - to redeem, you have to redeem it by booking flights through a dedicated reservation engine.
That engine only allows you to book flights with a point of departure for the first flight within Australia.
But the subsequent itinerary can include international destinations.

Late 2026 is what was said so far. Don't pick sc or points yet, wait to see if they make some more announcement this week.
How far are you from the first bankable WP milestone? This is at 25000 SC
