Never tried that as had to be at the hospital before 8.Could you park at 1601 and leave at 0859? That's what I've done street parking while overnighting at a 0859.

What kind of fool thinks it's acceptable to use or park on property that doesn't belong to you without permission? My next door neighbours tradies, who used my driveway and garden bed all day yesterday to access their house. Instead of just walking across their own lawn. And the used my driveway to store all their overflow stuff while they did their installation.
And my other next door neighbours, who are new, and like to put their bins out on my lawn rather than their own...
Exactly! Had that today! When you receive a bill unexpectedly and they give a link to pay it . Don't have a problem with paying but only giving a link to view and pay isn't great at all .
No prior contact about a bill being issued . It was a blood test that was repeated and I was actually expecting it last time but only got charged this time.
One is continually warned against clicking on unexpected links
I am tired of being made to feel like an inconvenient/annoying/irrelevant nuisance when I am trying to spend my money with a whole range of service providers. I would be just as annoyed as you are @MARTINEHi
So here is my rant and question for the brains trust.
Today did very large shop at Coles.
I normally always self check out as we have the large exceptionally user friendly ones where I can do at my pace snd preference.
Assistant was free and offered to open up her till.
How friendly
Mistake No 1.
So I unload as did a lovely woman behind me. Somehow we got onto first jobs — as a 14yo I worked Thursday night at Coles — my first pay was $10 and I bought a pair of Staggers (now Saba) jeans for )20!! Etc etc/cashier whose grandparents probably wern’t even born at that time enjoying the convo.
My items processed the assistants screen froze - call over a manager — no worries /we can wait to reboot — happened before but they advised lady no 2 to put her items on next bay and that opened up. All nice and chat continued.
Reboot and screen comes up with my order (faint) and still frozen.
I took a screenshot and assistant all surrounding customers all agreed - just pay the cash — which I wanted to do.
More Senior Manager was not responding to assistant, 2nd lady had completed her shop by now and I offered to physically find the manager who promptly treated me like some annoying Karen. I started by saying this is not a frontline staff issue but I have been patient and really in onvenienced.
Computer said no -it will unbalance the till.
I politely replied that is a Coles issue not mi e and I have been very fair and proposed a reasonable compromise.
I reiterated my position and she eventually relented and took my money followed by slamming the till and then lecturing me that yesterday’s Mastercard issue was not her problem either. I said I felt her pain but it wasn’t my problem either (and irrelevan) politely. She then complimented the assistant for being so patient!! And ignored me
I have just had a big rant to flybuys where I expect my points and then some
What would you do?

The store manager did say they have had IT out onsite a lot as registers were freezing like my experience. Fully understand their frustrations but I was one of the more polite patient customersSomething is going on with Coles and their IT
The last two Fridays ive been unable to complete my click and collect orders. I deleted my cache, tried two diffent computers and a phone device, two different credit cards, turned VPN on and off and retired all - nothing worked. I had to phone to process my order and log a IT ticket
Get a response, delete your cache and/or try another device. Thats it. Been doing click and collects since March 2020 and never a problem and if it wasnt for the flybuy points, I wouldnt bother
