I've got a 2 night stay at the pullman next week. What room category is this.So... I booked a room at the Novotel in Auckland at the airport. And was informed I had received an upgrade. Not a room upgrade. A hotel upgrade(!)
And freaking heck this new Pullman at the airport is rather lovely.

I wonder why they did that? The Pullman is a lot nicer then the Novotel and it’s got a good executive lounge and bar.So... I booked a room at the Novotel in Auckland at the airport. And was informed I had received an upgrade. Not a room upgrade. A hotel upgrade(!)
I _think_ it was just a standard King. (Room 721 in case anyone knows better)I've got a 2 night stay at the pullman next week. What room category is this.
I think there base room is called Superior King, which is what I've got. Hoping for a platinum upgrade with maybe a runway view. I've got 48 hours there and need something to look atI _think_ it was just a standard King. (Room 721 in case anyone knows better)
They told me the same thing about the mini bar, so it might be their standard policy. For anyone who arrives late when the bar is shut, they seem to be open to you using your drinks vouchers to grab something from the mini bar (that's what I was told I could do, at least).
And miss out on the fun of being stuck in theThey told me the same thing about the mini bar, so it might be their standard policy.
I’ve also been allowed to use my voucher to grab a coffee - the coffee shop opens at an ungodly hour (definitely by 5am) for anyone with an early flight.
That’s poor by them.Thankyou. Would have been nice to have been told of the changes when checking in!

I dunno. Quite like the lounge at the AKL Pullman. And brekky was infinitely better than hitting the cupboard before QF AKL lounge was upgraded.Just noticed this thread.
Happened to me three weeks ago.
I had a stay booked with points at Novotel and received the email a week or two prior to arrival.
Unfortunately, I did not get much benefit as I arrived at 0100 and departed around 0800.
I feel these fancy airport hotels are a little bit of a waste. I imagine for most people the convenience of a walking distance hotel far outweighs any other benefits. If the Ibis budget was a little closer I would have 100% picked that at half the price.
I am booked into an executive king room with breakfast at the Pullman. With all these upgrades I should be given the honeymoon suite also as Gold Accor +. More likely I'll be sent to the Novotel![]()
