Qantas reciprocal relationship with KLM/Air France (2020 onwards)

Looking at booking PER-CDG as the AF codeshare - ie flight number AF9689 with my QFF number in the booking. How does the partnership work with respect to status credits and points - will I earn similar to if I booked the QF33?

Interestingly when we flew JAL in Y from BCN to CDG to MEL via Tokyo with AF as a codeshare BCN-CDG we were able to access shared lounge in BCN and AF lounge at CDG as WP

Consistently inconsistent. There have been several instances over the years of WPs accessing the (Star member) Lounge, but others who have been rebuffed. 🤷‍♀️

When you start your booking, click on the price and the table that pops up shows details of points and status earned on each flight. However, with an AF flight number, you won't earn status credits.

I am booked CDG-PER on QF in August. Out of interest, why did you choose to codeshare and use the AF flight number?

Thanks - I didn't book it in the end. Pricing was coming up as about $2000 cheaper for the AF flight number instead of QF in J (it also included some intra Europe flights). Have found a different route
