Unsure if it is in the right sub-forum; please change it as needed.

I want to get to Liverpool (UK) from Thessaloniki (Greece), one way. The searches through google flights and skyscanner etc. gives me mostly expensive and multiple connecting flights.

Has anyone done this route or something similar?

Any thoughts or pointers?

Thank you.

Easyjet. The flight isnt daily but it’s non-stop. Fares range between £125 to £170 depending on the season. Plus there’ll be add ins for bags and anything else, which can be very expensive on easyjet (more often than not, more expensive than British Airways).

Or fly to Manchester and take the train… only 50 mins.

They say ‘up to’ £55 for a bag. But best to play around and see the exact price for your flight.

Actually it doesn’t look like easyjet, ryanair or wizz fly SKG-MAN. So it might be easyjet.

A lot of legacy Euro carriers still have the one way fare surcharge (basically you pay full Flex J/Y). Hence the large fares you’re probably seeing.

BA is usually better but still not as cheap as buying a return ticket. Doesn’t look like they fly it however?

Ryan Air and EasyJet don’t always show up on some of the aggregator websites, so best to go to each to see what they can do.

The first check bag on Ryan Air shouldn’t be too much.
