They're supposedly bookable on the app/web, selecting "points" when searching. Can't book a payment flight, just rewards flight (like booking a VA flight using AC points)

Turkish availability, at least until very recently, has not been displayed on the aeroplan site. They were for quite a while, then disappeared. They can only be booked by finding availability via another program, then calling aeroplan. Unless you’re saying you saw some recently? (which would be good news)

Interesting!! Turkish is back!! At least on some routes.

That is very very recent… like in the last few weeks. It was offline for months before that!

If you don’t mind sharing, if you found the availability on the app… why the need to call aeroplan?

- I didn't know that history, I only started searching last week
- had to call aeroplan (to make the booking) because in the online booking process, after listing names and going to "next" (for seat selection) it would error out.

There's still issues between Aeroplan /AC and Turkish . I have the Aeroplan booking number, Turkish Airlines booking number, ticket numbers but can't get into the TK site to manage booking (select seats). Bit of a worry

Yes.

You have to go to the app for turkish, and have the turkish booking reference, which you have. I don’t think the website works for it with aeroplan bookings.m

And even then, the app can send you round in circles because it seems to update at a different time to the main system.

For example when they changed my aircraft from an a330->a350, the booking itself and seat selection tool was blocked for like three days until the app updated with the new flights.

Hiwever, you can also email the TK office in australia… they responded overnight last time.You can do a dummy paid booking on the TK website, pull up the seat map, see what’s free, the. send an email to TK with your seat selection.

But the app is easier… when it works!
