Do you live near an airport?

So looks like I am still the closest to an airport - though I suppose some of us sometimes think we are living at airports

You'd probably get away with it if you had your own little aircraft.

Otherwise, sorry - no dice. I can imagine if the transport system was shot to hell you'd have a fun time trying to get out of BNE.

Will the real Ryan Bingham please stand up?

Being a plane nut (so to speak) I'm insanely jealous of my Brother. Less than 1km from JAD on the very short final approach path. Sure, no big birds (nothing over the CX trainers and the 737 that they're getting in there for engineering training). By road he's only around 4km away. Shame there's no scheduled services to the east from there. Would make visiting him easier :)

Last I knew about $450 from MEL :!:

I had to approve it on an expense claim about 2 years ago.
Wouldn't it have been cheaper to hire a car one-way?

I could catch the train but that would take just over an hour.
I refuse to use taxis in BNE unless I have no choice. I prefer the airtrain $13 (when it actually operates) or Coachtrans $14.

It takes around 40 minutes with either to the airport from my apartment in Spring Hill.
