For set menu, "The Classics" is preferred and we are willing to give the drinks package a go, hopefully the staff dont disappear down to the galley (looking at you, VA). Does the table have a call bell?

May I clarify how it will work.

We decide on 'The Classics'. They bring all the stuff out to each table and its shared around?

Beverages may be ordered to a consumption bar tab per table, or we can opt in to a set 2.5hr beverage package

@DejaBrew - when you say 'we' opt in to bev package - its all in (except for non drinkers), and everyone gets charged $70? If we opt into bev pkg, can I not participate and order individually (maybe with others), we keep tabs on what we individually ordered and then pay our share of a table bill?

Basically, yes. We decide on the menu and that dictates what everyone gets. We don't have the option for individuals to choose separate set menus. The exception to this is for dietary requirements, in which case suitable alternative dishes are swapped out for those folks as needed.

Correct. They allow non-drinkers to be excluded from this, but the intent would be that most of the attendees would be partaking in the drinks package with non-drinkers being the minority exception.

All good. To be honest, I think it's going to be safer/easier for us to just manage all drinks via table tabs. The drinks package would would make more sense with a smaller group where the majority were willing to partake.
