2026 F1 Thread

Thanks, I have rejoined and will see what comes through
Good luck
The discount wasn’t obvious when I bought my tickets — but each category you click on shows the after 20% price all the way to payment. I had to check the actual prices as there was no reference to the offer (except on the actual ticket after order complete).

I know, I know, we won’t see the “real” cars till testing/Melbourne, but time to get excited anyway!

A sad - but unsurprising - end to this saga. We can only hope he ends up in that mooted test/reserve driver role with Haas. Don’t think he was necessarily champion material, but the bloke deserved way better than he got from Alpine.

Thank God Oscar left Al-peeeen

Nowhere to hide now they have Merc power…
All reports from their management last year was that they sacrificed 2025 for 2026. But, adjusting to a completely new PU (and also the difference in being a customer team now) would suggest they'll be the last of the Merc engine users, at the very least.

Complete aside, but should we have an "F1 meetups" sub-forum or pinned post or something? Or do we actually have one and I've just missed it lol

First livery revealed! Sort of..... well, it's a test livery for a test day that the public won't witness (i.e. the first day of Barcelona testing).

Time will tell, but I believe history is littered with teams that claimed "we're sacrificing [insert year here] for [year+1]" and who subsequently went nowhere. Nothing I've seen from Alpine convinces me they'll be the exception in 2026. But who knows? We would have said the same about Honda/Brawn in the leadup to the 2009 season and look what happened there.

As in a pub meet to watch the race sort of meet up? Or more like a thread about actual meetups at the race venue? Either one could be interesting 🤔
