How are you going about paying for things? Did you Exchange take Cash prior, using ATM? or have you managed to get the Contact-less payments working?

Combination of all of the above. Got 8000 before we came here, used an ATM at BLR before war flew to Kochi and used both 29degress ccard and phone contactless

Enjoying this, makes me realise that I wish I had taken more photos in the early eighties than I did. Oh to have had a digital camera back then.....

Some things don't seem to change, I'm sure the building above, before the bikes was exactly the same back then. I do have some photos, so when I get them back, it will be interesting to compare.

I'm guessing the Chinese fishing nets are still there.
