How long did the SC take to come into your account from the everyday rewards gift card? Points came in the next day but not SC yet and my son needs 10 more for a flight tomorrow!

Folks needing to complete 'fuel and cars' should check their emails.

This morning, I got a (possibly targeted) email from Qantas inviting me to activate an offer with BP for 3x250 points for three visits (no minimum spend it seems) by 31 January. Time to go and buy a few more bags of chips...

(Needn't have bought all those overpriced boxes of Favourites it seems. Hindsight's a wonderful thing...)
I have already managed the SC with BP @MELso but we both got the email 250 x 3 promo.
Naturally, 😏 I filled up x 2 early in the promo, points there but not the bonus 250 x2 points yet.....

Well that's a wrap, my red energy points hit yesterday thanks to the special billing cycle, managed to get every category, also ticked off green tier! Time to cancel my carbon offset, happy with the $5.33 charge for the shorter billing cycle to get a green tier activity.

Cards and Banking: Normal everyday CC spend.
Insurance: $103 Qantas Travel Insurance policy for Singapore.
Utilities and Services: Normal Red Energy Spend, had to be creative and ask for a special bill cycle otherwise i would of just missed out - Bill originally due to be generated 01 JAN
Hotels and Travel: Had 10,331 IHG Points sitting there that i wasn't planning on using, so transferred 10,000 IHG for 2000 QF not the best use, but had no plans for them
Fuel and Cars: Normal BP Fuel Purchases (Surprisingly the BP on the way to work is the cheapest servo in my area), might of bought an extra Dare Iced Coffee or two for 10 x points, when the bonus points didn't hit, called up and the extra points they gave me helped me get over the line a lot earlier than expected / also had a few Ubers to and from the airport paid for by the work account
Food and Wine: Just one shop at woolies, was sitting on 1900 everyday reward points so easy to do with a normal shop.
Shopping: $350 Woolies Gift Card on Qantas Marketplace used for everyday spend.
Health and Leisure: 1 month of Kayo for $30.

Happy with the 110 extra status credits + 50 from green tier that are already in my account!

Registered but I can't actually see myself earning any SC from this offer. Can't even transfer Amex MR to complete the Cards and Banking section!

And as a member with a December year-end, looks like we get the short end of the stick again - offer comes too late in the membership year to be particularly useful (and looks like the SC's can't be deferred until the new year since they're backdated to the date the points are earned), on top of the fact that we can't defer the 'gift' SCs credited last month to the new membership year either!

Exactly - I have 31 Oct membership year, so I immediately lost 30 SC's as soon as they were granted!☹️

I was lucky because 30 of my 90 SCs landed in November for things with activity dates in October. They should’ve been backdated but weren’t.
