Citi cards become myCard - no more CX, KF, EY, QR from 16/11/25

Still no info on points earn rates, hopefully same as before. But only FB and Velocity in redemptions section.

They are also offering Qantas versions for $50 a year extra. Both versions offer lounge access through Priority Pass - but only the 2 or 15 entries per year depending on the card you choose.

Yet again this move proves to be a PITA. Even though I have a mobile number registered (+44xx_xx_xx), they're saying nothing set on the new account so I have to call in to sort.

The mycard system is sending very late emails. E. G 'you have successfully changed your password' email arriving 18 hours after the password change. Which is obviously a really good way to make it look like someone else has changed your password.....

I changed over, logged in with the MyCard app, yes ordinary brown colour, but works well so far, emails immediate after password change and log in.
Let's see how this go over next little while.

I cant see any point in keeping this card, correct me if I'm wrong but it will only earn more velocity points when spending overseas (3.5% surcharge). I have NAB Signature which I'll keep over this. Glad I redeems all my points for SQ prior

I have around 170000 points in citi/mycard
I will want to try and fly SQ, shall I transfer to velocity then from velocity to krisflyer?

Thanks. With the 20% bonus what is the final transfer ratio?
100,000 Citi points used to convert to 40,000 SQ points or 50,000 VA points directly (on Premier/Prestige cards).

With a 15% transfer bonus, 100,000 MyCard points convert to 57,500 VA points, which then convert to 37,097 SQ points (at 1.55:1), a 7.25% penalty.

With a 20% transfer bonus, 100,000 MyCard points convert to 60,000 VA points, which then convert to 38,709 SQ points (at 1.55:1), a 3.2% penalty.

Appreciate the explanation! Maybe once the bonus comes along I will transfer then close the card account.
