After 2 great examples, my final taste of the 2025 spring menu oyster blade was not so tender and not so tasty today, I guess that that's the QF mantra of "consistently inconsistent" rearing its head again. S&PS was as good as ever though. Still, am hoping for Jacquart and a decent main choice on QF33 back to PER...

Turkish eggs in the Melbourne first lounge with bacon was quite tasty. Best hot chocolate as always in the lounge too.
Melbourne reception so much better than Sydney as usual. Remembered us from our last travels and organised a birthday cake for my mum who is flying out of Melbourne tomorrow.

Rocked up to the bar at SYD INT F lounge. "Same as usual, sir. Glenmorangie, no ice?" "Thank you"! Is that the sign of a frequent flyer? I usually get my first drink myself then ask the attendants.
