A long shot Buzz, not like you have much experience in such matters……Looks like a SW Lunch line up.
Did you get to try the current BP?Bingo. I was on the lookout for other AFF riff raff surprising me again, but no such luck![]()
I did... But it was after lunch. So palate was pretty shot by this point. Seemed a little more restrained perhaps than the 21. Honestly, I really need to try it again to have a valid opinion. Still grabbed a 6 pack.Did you get to try the current BP?
I'd be keen to hear your thoughts.
I haven't placed an order yet but was thinking of giving the BP a miss instead loading up on the Rifle Range.I did... But it was after lunch. So palate was pretty shot by this point. I also grabbed 3 each of the RR, R&S and Moppa. Mainly limited by cellar space. They also the 2019 BP magnums available as well as a magnum of BS 2001 tiraged and 2023 disgorged.I haven't placed an order yet but was thinking of giving the BP a miss instead loading up on the Rifle Range.

It was $22 or $25 can’t remember exactly.Who here remembers this cheapie from Vinomofo? My last bottle but OMG! What a little ripper at 11 year's of age. I opened the bottle about an hour before drinking and poured a glass about 30 minutes prior. Beautiful nose, smooth and elegant, perhaps not as long on the palate as I would have thought but it certainly is stunning. I can't remember what it cost but it was probably under 10 bucks. Certainly worth the price and the wait.

$60->$21 +freight if charged, April 2016.It was $22 or $25 can’t remember exactly.
I opened my last bottle last year at 10 years mark and it was awesome. The first bottle didn’t taste really good. Time really help to smooth out the tannins and transform it to a good one
I had a ‘16 Ashton Hills Sparkling Shiraz last night, sublime. A memorable bottle, shame it was my last
