I'm heading to NZ in a couple of weeks for a 2 week driving holiday, and was thinking I should get with it and blog my trip so family, friends etc can follow us around etc. It seems like the days of the old slide show on return are long gone

What's everyone's thoughts on which is the best site? Are there any that should be avoided?

Thanks,

WT

If you use something like WordPress or LiveJournal that also present an RSS feed, you can connect that RSS feed into your Notes application on Facebook. That was whenever you make a post in your Blog it is imported into Facebook and posted on your Facebook feed.

I like that feature... seems like a great way of integrating with Facebook. Also like the blogs that can integrate with TripAdvisor. Very cool...

Wordpress is a pretty good platform these days - never really played with the Facebook plugin, but RSS certainly works well and there are a million and one different themes you can apply to change the look.

Most importantly - make sure you post a link here so we can follow your trip! :)
