Qantas Points Club Discussion

Don't the vouchers expire on your membership year, 12 month.
I thought only valid that memb year.
It's 12 months from issue. My PC+ expires 31/8/26 but wine vouchers last until 7/10/26. My hotels $100 lasts until 30/9/26.

Can't be. I have a 1 October member year start and looking at the vouchers I've been given for this year, the expiries are 31/10/26, 7/11/26 and 7/11/26 respectively.

Has anyone had issues with their vouchers disappearing? I'm positive I had vouchers from my prior member year that I hadn't used (i.e. was holding over to this year to get the best bang for buck as I'd already re-qualified), but seems all I have showing now are the new vouchers that were allocated for my current member year.
Heard this before - 'tis why I keep a folder in Gmail where these live until redeemed. Never rely on an airline-supplied dashboard.

Yeah, rookie mistake. Might look back on my emails to see if I've got any record from when the previous ones were issued.

Mine (first earning) were delivered 6 days after my Welcome email. Subject line of:
"RB001, a Points Club reward is waiting for you"

Found the previous email and it seems that those issued last year were "12 months from date of issue" whereas the ones I've just received are clearly valid for longer. But.... looking at the fine print in the email -:

The vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
The email/vouchers were received October 8th. So.... whether hotel or wine, the vouchers have two conflicting expiry dates.

I have lounge passes that I cannot use because of the Sydney international business class lounge upgrade *sigh*

I didn't think the SYD international business lounge was going to see any improvements until 2027?
I can’t seem to add the lounge passes to any of my international flights at all. I have one to BKK in December but not allowed to add it. It’s a morning flight too

If mid-late December, Qantas has probably capped the number of invitations that can be redeemed due to capacity constraints.

What other Qantas international flights do you have booked that you can't attach them to?

It’s on the 4th of December so I’m a bit surprised it’s been constrained? The other one is mid December so that explains it

I gifted two lounge invitations to a work colleague and his wife, and they were able to link and access the Sydney Int Bus Lounge two weeks ago. As @sudoer said, Dec is a busy time of year.

Just out of curiosity as I keep seeing this a bit "Exclusive flying offers" for PC/PC+ members:
  • How does QF announce these?
  • Are these flying offers something that they email to PC/PC+ members or is this an automatic promo that pops up in your account?
  • How often do these run?
  • Do they clearly say exclusive to PC/PC+ members?
I am just trying to differentiate and also want to keep an eye out when these offers are available.

Thank you.

Yes, good period to stay away from lounges.. it has unfortunately become a market place some days.. :/

I'm 996 pts short of retaining Points Club with 4 days left in my membership year.

I've just had my latest CC statement points land, so spending more on the CC as per usual won't get me points in time.

I've also done all the Qantas Wellbeing quizzes etc as well so I've pretty much exhausted most things that would get me points in <4 days.

Buying alcohol is useless to me as I don't drink, therefore I'm thinking if it's worth just spending the $56 to top-up (ie. the worst way to earn points) 1k points to retain PC for another year.

Seems like the most cost effective option as I'm just short by 996 pts.

Any boosters in Everyday Rewards (noting EDR converts at 2:1)?

You could buy $350 of Wish (or other) giftcards from Qantas Marketplace too.

Subscribe to Kayo via the QFF link before end of month for $30, you get 1,000 points 2 days later (and 10 SCs 2 days after that)?

Thankyou for the suggestions.

The only useful Booster I have in the Rewards app is 2k bonus ER points for $100 spent at Woolworths, however I've just done a shop at Coles / am done for the week and also weary of the time required for the points to land and be transferred if I do a $100 shop at WW.

Also, I don't really watch sports either, so Kayo isn't of use to me - yep, I'm very "boring" - don't drink or watch sports not available on FTA TV 🤣

I guess the quickest option would be to just top-up 1k points for $56.
