Two weeks ago school fees would have been the perfect option. Not keen to prepay the next term 3.5 months early though.

EDIT: On second thoughts I will be able to make this payment on the next statement period so wouldnt end up repayment until 6 weeks before the fees are due. May consider this.

First time this has happened.
Amex 500/150 offer spent last month, got the credit on the same day.
The following month (next statement cycle), I had to cancel the flight.
Refund arrived same day, but $150 charge (reversal of credit) also applied.
Just realised, this happened days before the end of the promotion - so maybe that's why
