Ok here we go. I wont get to use the lounge as I go LTG on the return domestic leg and its with Jetstar. I am flying again later in the month but with Virgin , just to keep myself in the red.

Is that because the lounge is in the other terminal ?

It’s why I fly JQ out of Adelaide as o can go to the lounge
And why I prefer not to fly JQ out of Sydney or Melbourne (long hike and no fast track on the security queues)

That's one reason, the other is get I the remaining 4 status points on the return journey.
