ALL Accor+ Explorer Membership Discussion

Im confused as I now seem to have 3 member numbers when until yesterday I had only 1.

In the app:
Gold Accor Live Limitless Virtual Card is: 308xx_X 99999999 0
All+ Explorer Virtual card is: 308YYYY 99999999 6

And the email they sent this arvo has another number for my A+ Explorer 308ZZZZ 99999999 1

The 99999999 (not real number) is the same on all but the leading number starting with 308 and the last digit are different on all.

On Facebook there are reports of people being denied dining discount today because number on Explorer virtual card is not same as ALL Card i.e. the ALL Card doesnt automatically scream a+

The 99999999 is your actual member number. Everything else added before and after relates to the individual card.

For the dining thing, you should be showing them the ALL Accor+ Explorer Card screen (because dining benefit is associated with the paid card, and not the ALL card), located under paid cards in the app. That screen of the card also shows dining benefit (30% off).

But doesnt explain why the Explorer card attached to the email which I was directed to download is a different number to th Explorer card shown in app. I only have one explorer membership.
 
Have I missed something or are the overall benefits now reduced?

Didn't StayPlus use to be able to be used on it's own for a free night - now it has to be combined with a paid night.

Also wasn't dining with 2 people 50% off (ie: I eat free) - looks like max discount is now 30%.

I did contact support and they acknowledged there is currently a glitch but expect that ot be resolved by tomorrow.

Probably your old Accor Plus number.....

You now get two SyayPlus nights.

For some the benefits might be reduced and others increased. Depends how you use it.

And I found previously if looking for a stand alone night you usually couldn't find one, but as soon as you were looking for 2 nights getting one free was usually not a problem.

Some will win, some will lose under the new system
Yes solo travellers have had a win, as we now get 30% instead of 25% discount; and anyone dining with a group up to 10 now only needs 1 card.

Yes I noticed that too, but irrelevant I think, as I don't think I've ever had to quote a number anywhere.

So in the App you'll see the ALL number and the ALL Accor+ Explorer number (noting the ALL Accor+ Explorer number quoted in the email has different pre and post fixes).

If you log into the ALL site, it will display by default the ALL Card number. Interestingly, if you log into the Accorplus.com website it will also show by default the ALL number. Why? No idea!

Oh I have had to in the past i.e. to get dining discount at Silos in Launceston I had to read out my card number and they typed it into the system, so the discount would be applied (wasnt good enough to just show the card).
 
Checking the stay plus availability and it's still pretty awful. Not seeing much improvements compared to before.

Hoping more availability will be released soon, otherwise I don't see myself using any of the stay nights.

They always needed the number to get the discount. Either you quote it or you show them on a card or on a phone for them to enter onto the system.
 
From memory the StayPlus (BOGOF version) is visible on the Home page of the App. It’s where you see your Tier membership level and your rewards points.
Not for me. Only the SNUs are on the homepage. My stay plus are only seen as per postal above.

How about anyone else?

Yep, I'm finding this a bit frustrating. Previously you just opened up the app and there was your card to show. Now there's two cards in the app (one right at the front and one buried further within) with different numbers and you show different cards depending on the circumstance.

I suspect we're going to see a bit of this over the next few weeks, with staff training lagging behind the changes.

No, only SNUs there for me and no opportunity when booking.

Edit, I see that the Stay plus at the back where I found it it says only valid for certain explorer memberships. I guess not mine. Any ideas, anyone?
