What's your golden travel rule?

Always plan to arrive at the starting point 2 days before a cruise or tour. I have heard a lot of horror stories from people missing out on their holiday due to a flight delay. It also gives you a bit of time to adjust your body clock.

Yes, definitely before a cruise. Not just because you might miss the boat, but there’s nothing worse than making the ship but your luggage just missing the next port of call (and the next, and the next…). Not happened to me but I’ve seen it happen several times!

Late Luggage is never an issue for me I have only taken carry on for the last 7-8 years. that includes up to seven weeks away from Artic to Tropics
