From the viewing platform. Not to be unkind but Warsaw is not the most exciting city I have seen from above. But that happens when most of your city has been levelled in WW2.

We saw the Chopin Monument yesterday after walking around a lot of Lazienki Park. And we intend to be be back there on Sunday for the free concert.There is the old town rebuilt after the war and monument to Chopin.

Horseshoe Falls is approx 180 ft (55 Mtrs) high. The spray goes past the drop height and then much further into the air. The volume of water going over is 169,000 cubic metres per second. It's a sight to see.
Yep. The guide said a control dam was built in the 50's to control the flow of water to the power stations. It opens early in the morning to let water flow over the falls and closed at night to redirect the flows to the power stations.Were you aware that actually up to 75% of the water upstream is diverted to make electricity so what you see today is only a shell of what it was like prior to the 1950's
