I wonder if anyone knows the answer to this, as the QF call centre doesn't.

One way FCO-DXB-SYD in Y.
CR seats available.
But, as usual, being a flight originating outside Australia, the "warning" comes up that the booking is subject to Italian Terms and Conditions.

Given that I might need to change or cancel the flight I thought I should read the Italian terms and conditions.
But there are no appropriate links during the booking process.

So I called QF. They tell me it will be subject to Qantas Terms and Conditions.
Even though the booking process highlights Italian Terms and Conditions, they can't find any.

And....... they can't even see availability for the seats I'm about to book! But let's not go there.

Has anyone had experience of booking a one way ticket back to Australia, under the departure country Terms and Conditions? Maybe it deals purely with consumer law and not elements such as cancellations or changes? I'm happy to lose 5,000 points (or is it 6,000) as usual for a change/cancellation, but don't want to also lose the Fees/Taxes payment.

I havent experienced any difference. Had to make some changes or cancel CR originating from UK or France so far.
