Guilty of planning it on the flight home.When you are planning or booking your next trip as soon as you get back from the previous one.
2nd and 3rd points. Definitely!
- When you get really excited for an upcoming trip/s (more so than anything else that's happening in your life otherwise).
- When you get invited to trivia event(s) solely for your knowledge of airline and airport IATA codes, aircraft models etc, rather than what you bring socially or otherwise to the table
- When you get asked on Live Chat "Are you in the Travel Industry" after using GDS lingo when asking for itineraries/eTickets to be emailed to you
The last two are good point when you refer to cities by their airport IATA codes, or even using the UN Phoenetic alphabet

I have to give my name in UN Phoenetic sometimes, and have the alphabet on my wall.Haha yes - whenever friends/family ask "hey where are your next travels taking you" and your respond "heading to MXP/BCN via SIN then heading back via IST" they look at you like you're speaking in tongues
And then to top it off say "sitting in 11 Delta/Foxtrot for the long hauls"![]()

... you get a limo at your destination and the driver automatically picks up our discussion on sports from when he dropped me off last time;
... you know the exact key words that the Canadian immigration folks need to hear so as not to hassle you about 'working' in Canada, so these days you get through in seconds;
... lounge crawls, or indeed lounge hops no longer appeal
... friends come to you for FX .. not advice, actual foreign cash
I especially like this one of JTs:
Oh dear, that's me! Make it the phone and tablet as well.... your laptop automatically connects to every airport/hotel lounge wi-fi network you visit.
Should have been a separate reply.Oh dear, that's me! Make it the phone and tablet as well.
