Strategy to obtain US Amex

I am hoping to know. Please share your journey with BoA. I am looking at Biz Alaska too
Received a email from boa which is a third party used for document submission (Your Bank of America invitation to your IntraLinks Exchange Small Business - New Card - Verification Documents 20250808)
Requires a password . But no password was set by me initially, nor can I set it now . Although I can use Microsoft Authenticator but how do I link it initially ?
Email sent to intralink bounced back .
A sacrifice that we're willing to let you make ;)
Is boa known to be difficult .

I don't think so based on the research! I did some googling about intralink and it seems like its usually done for a loan. Seems like a lot of documentation for you to fill in.

Did you find any of the content difficult/concerning?

Do you guys close your Ink cards after the first year? Do any of your keep the card open longer than you need to? I believe you would need to spend close to 3K USD on a x3 category to cover the AF (based on 1c/point)?

Can always product change to a free Ink (CIU or CIC) if you want.

I product change all of them to CICs for 5x office supplies.

But best to close if you want to apply for more Inks. Chase has a soft limit of only approving new Inks if you have less than 2-4 open at a time.

Yeah my intention was to apply for more Inks down the road and given that this Ink had the highest credit limit, it would be easier to close it verses asking a CL decrease which I heard Chase doesn't like.

I got declined a few months go for having CIC + IHG + CIP. Recon tried to push the application again but didn't work out.

I assume that it would be best to wait 30 days post closure to re-apply for a CIP if I wanted the SUB?

Sharing a bit of 1st chase credit card experience (for p2), used a Commercial address (us global mail). Uploaded docs over 3 times, called almost 10 x times. By the time we were almost giving up, she got approved.
Received card and noticed it does not require activation, call 3117 number to setup online banking.Rep said he will have to me us back, but never did. Called again 2nd rep said phone number is not registered under P2's name (its Tello service under p2's name). Suggested her to contact mobile service provider and call back, and suggested to visit branch. Geeezz...
Her mobile could always receive sms from chase through the application.

Best to use this trick to create the online account if you have an ITIN:

i dont have that option on mine - try one and then the other - can do the test. - once in never have to do again - you may be signed in or have a newer option
Thanks, would you be able to post left side of the screen too. I am not sure why my layout is different, regardless if I am sign in or not.

I tried the Cap1 VX credit card pre-approval tool again today and much to my surprise, it responded in the positive! The only verification requested is identification - but they specifically asked for state issued ID, so it'll be interesting to see whether a passport upload is sufficient.
Hi @GDale, any update on this one?

I've been patiently waiting to see if the doc review passes without intervention, as success rates from calling seem to be next to zero - so far that strategy is not working! The review is still "in progress"... I'll give it a few more days before running the gauntlet with the call centre.
