Is anyone here good at identifying an aircraft type from looking at photos of major components?

Bit of a mystery - plane crashed into the water in the late 1950's on the other side of the world - unknown if commercial or military but more likely to be military. Wreck has broken up when it hit the water but there are some pretty clear photos of the underside of a reasonably large wing. If anyone is knowledgeable of aircraft from that period could you please send me a PM.

Happy to ask but the group has 12.5k members so 100% discretion unlikely especially if it is..er… sensitive
