Air New Zealand Delays/Cancellations

On Sunday 10 August 2025, QF29 (1020 hours MEL-HKG) took off at 1147 hours but by 1224 had diverted back to MEL.

As at 1247 hours, assuming FR24 is accurate, A333 VH-QPJ looked to be blocking the main north-south runway, making it hard for NZ124, to depart the 1205 hours MEL-AKL that was at the south end. B773ER ZK-OKW is the taskmaster.

good news, the flight is now taking off at 1305 as QF 29 is now out of runway

Update - the flight is facing a 20-25 min delay - 1806 instead of 1740 arrival
