I've done all those. Not happy with the E190 so will do BNE-MEL-ADL-SYD rather than BNE-ADL-MEL-SYD. Is Prem screening at BNE back in action? For me, when I do it, it will be a mark off my bucket list, something to try.
If they (Qflink) is still flying the E190 BNE - ADL, I would probably go with that, even tho they are very old now, have done to 2 J and QP lounges at BNE, and prem sec screening, so that part is done.
Cheaper I guess to go MEL - CBR in Y, on the A220 (in my case), then CBR - ADL in an E190.
Wish they would bring the A220 into MEL - ADL several times, just for me to try it.
Another new A220 route.
Sydney to Coffs Harbour starts October 26.
Operates 1 service per day. Timings vary.
They haven't used the 220 on SYD-CFS before. Just MEL-CFS.The 220 has made a number of appearances between SYD and CFS over the past couple of years but it's good to see it locked in as Classic awards on the Q400 are becoming scarce, especially close in. Classic Plus in Y on the Q400 starts from around 18,600 and goes as high as 25,800, while a Classic in J on the 220 is 19,300. Guess I'll be flying in J a lot more after Oct.
I am/was aware of the 717 & 737 doing SYD-CFS on occasions and thought I had seen the 220 on a couple of occasions as well; but perhaps my memory is not what it used to be. Either way, I'll be pleased to have the choice of J classic awards and the extra capacity should also help with Y awards. They haven't used the 220 on SYD-CFS before. Just MEL-CFS.
The 717 and 737 has popped up on SYD-CFS over the last few years though.
Last time I did SYD-CFS was a few years ago and it was a DASH8. At least in the A220 I can get my HL in the overhead locker.I am/was aware of the 717 & 737 doing SYD-CFS on occasions and thought I had seen the 220 on a couple of occasions as well; but perhaps my memory is not what it used to be.
