I actually preferred the old human touch. When the First host would call you the day before. Ask about your time of arrival and check if needed kerbside escort and book in your preferred Spa time and treatment.

I think this should be reinstated.
Agreed. I mean there would be a maximum (currently until QF7 becomes an A380 again), of 42 calls to make (that assumes not couples / parties >2). Surely given the fares they are charging this wouldn't be too much to ask.

I would prefer this too, but I just can't see QF ever bringing it back...

All based on timing. Maybe something just done for paid F two days before to give them the best chance.

But as mentioned above with the timing of QF63 and QF83 from SYD and only one therapist in the mornings you really only have 2 slots for 28 pax.

I'm going through Melbourne airport in about a week late at night and was hoping to visit the first lounge (QF Platinum flying Cathay) but it seems the last 2 QF international flights that day are the 6.30pm and 6.40pm flights to Auckland and Christchurch (the 11pm ish Auckland flight isn't running). Would it be right to assume that the QF First lounge will close once the 6.40pm flight boards? Thanks for any help.
