The Survivors on Netflix is worth a watch. It has a slow-burn Aussie style which really sets the mood and allows you to get to know the characters, who are all flawed and very well thought out.

After a number of false starts on Netflix, I finally settled on The Kominsky Method. Not new but a steady stream of good actors. Finished season 1 last night.

Watching NewsSpotlight about Brenda Brethyn who plays Vera. I lived in NE England when in 1977 Anne Cleaves was written up in the local Shields Gazette about her crime novels. At the time Anne was in her early 20's and as a young man I found the articles fascinating. I guess it's just another girl I missed out on. Anne, not Brenda.

Came to say that we just binged watched Dept Q. A "tartan noir", based on a cold case police drama. Give the first episode some time but I wasn't was hooked by the end of it.
