What's behind your AFF user name?

I often wonder what is the story behind some people's AFF user names...

My hubby is a private pilot with a Grumman Tiger, and when we fly in that, I am in the copilot seat. So hence he is in Seat 0A and I am in Seat 0B. And that's the story behind my user name.

If you feel comfortable sharing the story behind your AFF user name, I'd be interested to hear it!

Nice thread! You know I always figured seat 0B to be the co-pilot chair - great to have that confirmed after all this time!

My username started off as pretty much every family member's nickname "Bussy" (from my surname) and back in the early 2000's when it came to choosing a username for some internet service, I had been in an argument with a friend not long before hand and she'd said to me "Listen here Bussy boy..." and I guess this was in my mind at the time I was signing up! Been carrying this nickname for a while as a differentiator from the rest of the fam.

And the profile pick was just a random non-me photo I picked from my gallery - as it happens, the aforementioned friend's dog!

Back in high school I was the first amongst my group of friends to go OVERSEAS (cue hushed ooooohs) to NZ. So I got the nickname sheep. Yes it was a very public school, I grew up incredibly poor.

My avatar is my turtle Dash because she's adorable. And the perfect travel pet, needing no care for stays of up to 3 weeks in winter. Probably 2 weeks in summer.

Here I was thinking your surname must be Lamb. ;)

Mine seemed like a good idea at the time…if not particularly imaginative (but, heck it was available).

At the time, I was seeing the inside of SYD T1, T2 and T3 quite regularly.

I have been pondering rejigging it to being something more relevant. No, not “WSI”! 😁
