A week on a 20-pax 'liveaboard' boat pottering around Raja Ampat in late March. A group of us from Perth, including my nemesis @daver6 has taken exclusive use.

In August about five weeks in Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe/Botswana/Zambia, briefly finishing in Cape Town.

When your eyes aren't underwater, look up in the trees. There are amazing birds to be seen in Raja Ampat. including Eclectus Parrots, Palm coughatoos, Wilson's Bird of Paradise.

For the wine experience it is only bookable through our TA. She has an allocation of rooms and as of yesterday only about 10 rooms left. Her brother has a vineyard and was also one of the founders of the 4 Pillars distillery so has many contacts in those circles.

• Make further use of our "work from anywhere" policy to enjoy one or more overseas trips without excessively depleting my annual leave
