First Qantas A220 revealed

Yes, but have you ever flown on one? I have, and IME even the 717 beats the xx_x out of it for comfort. The 737 is streets ahead.

The A220 is a nice aircraft, but not in the scrunched up cattle class layout that Qantas has opted for. Even J is quite poor. I'll fly VA Y in row 3 anyday over that carp.
Yes, though admittedly only up front - and the new J is much preferred IMO.

Why is it doing any? It's concerning that Qantas link are now flying the big city pairs. They should be part of mainline
They still have 22 more on order, I think they will definitely continue to operate big city pairs, not too sure where else they could go aside from replacing e-190s on some routes

Int'l new routes. A220 was designed as both a regional jet and Int'l thin routes. Ones like their planned DRW -SIN. Or some Pacific islands. Basically something that a 321XLR might be too big for.
