What cheeses me off

Does this make sense to anyone? Why the contrast between BKK immigration and CNX immigration. This is harassment but nothing we can do. And yes I do see a totally irrelevant point that we may be kidnapping my daughter but multiple Thailand entry/exit stamps and Australian passport with identical details is a dead give-away that we are not kidnapping anyone.

For an 'abundance of caution', for which I think you should be grateful for. A bit like when they ID you for buying alcohol in the NT - EVERYONE has to produce it, even if you are, er, obviously over 80!

What if your flight was on time?
If the BKK-SIN flight was on time we would have had 2h35m transit so plenty of time to relax in lounge and make way to boarding gate at own pace.

I do not want (refuse) to book transits where I have to rush to boarding gate to be the last to board. It's too stressful.

I suspect they are checking the human trafficking angle.

It appears all that is required is BCert plus parent letter. Has your daughter ever been refused travel?.
I understand about human trafficking but daughter has Thai entry/exit stamps the same as her parents. She also has Australian passport that matches Thai passport.

The only thing I can possibly think, is they are implying that Thai/Australian passports can be forged but not Thai birth certificate. What if it was Australian birth certificate? Or Greek birth certificate? And why don't CNX immigration make same fuss?

Three birth certificates? Must have been traumatic for the mother 🤣

Do you have to show both passports and Thai ID? Presenting only the Australian passport would make asking for a Thai birth certificate somewhat presumptuous.

Getting her out 3 times wasn't so much of a problem as pushing her back in twice. ;)
No offence intended John
