Hello there,

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but is the 20% off rate offered with the Premium Club card off the Hilton websites "Best Available" rate or the best rate that can be found on the internet i.e. Wotif

Many Thanks

Dave

I don't know about Wotif but I know a number of Flyertalkers, and AFFers, who were able to get 20% off the Travelzoo rate for the Ozfest DO in Cairns back in May.

Thanks very much John....I'll hang out until the 29th and book with the 70% off promotion but that is good to know in the future.

If the rate is booked through the Hilton web site then you get the 20% off though some times, as in Cairns, it is necessary to lean on them a little.

Speaking of which, our memberships expire at the end of April so it looks like no 20% off for OzFest.

I hope we have cleared this up in the Ozfest thread on AFF.

Yup, worst case scenario can use the member for a stay cards we have, they have no expiry  Given that I've now prepaid my rate though, I'll argue that it was booked and paid for when I was a HPC member so I should get my 20%

The T&C's do talk about when you stay though .

And there is this little transitional rule:

The Hilton Premium Club will be discontinued upon the expiry date printed on your membership card

I am sure there are enough member for a stay cards to go around though.

I think I had 2-3 of them, so that's OK. I still have the one I snaffled through AMEX when they had that going.
