I am planning to fly Melbourne to Los Angeles next April with VA. Have done the flight before in VA Economy, but would like other FF's comments regarding VA's Premium Economy and Business class seats (seat comfort etc.) Thanks.....

I did VA Premium Economy BNE-LAX return in August, loved it, the seat had a similar feel to the QF Domestic Business Class seats, and wouldn't hesitate in flying Y+ with them again.

I fly J alot internationally, but for a 13hr hop across the Pacific, Y+ suited me fine.

Hi Barnaby,

I have flown PE SYD-LAX with VA back in October. I found the seats more comfortable than QF PE - they seemed to have a slightly greater recline position. Also, the noise cancelling headphones are excellent as is the selection of movies, etc. on IFE.

Like Travel Guru, I would not hesitate to fly PE in VA again.

Cheers

Another thumbs up for VAust PE. Had the pleasure to fly them last my / june.

The nois cancelling headphones worked very well, the food was some of the best I've had on a plane, service was great.

If only I can have some luck Jan 2 with the 30 Million Lotto draw I'll gladly fly them again

Theres a trip report on here in the Trip Reports forum that has a few pics of the VA Y+ product (although that was on a BNE - HKT flight - you get the drift).

Wasn't too bad at all, if the budget allows for Y+ instead of Y-, you should definitely give it a go.
