Emirates has an issue in Moscow

A6-EDM one of EKs oldest A380s, and has mostly been operating to DME recently (possibly only one insured for that trip)
3x daily’s between DXB-DME with 2 services operated by A380’s and the other by 777’s.
Was watching the news in the UK the other night and they were saying there is currently 22 daily flights per day each way between Russia and the UAE

With onward connections to / from HKT…

Unfortunately it seems that the driver of the truck suffered a stroke, very sad.

Nevertheless, the damage is probably just cosmetic, it seems like the truck just clipped the underside of where the landing gear is stored, could probably be fixed relatively quickly.

Very unfortunate indeed. I assume that due to the Western sanctions on Russia, the spare parts need to travel from Airbus in France/Germany to the UAE first and then to Russia? If that’s the case the aircraft could be sitting at DME for a couple of months

And sanctions might make things difficult.
At least it's not an aircraft type that the Russian airlines have 'borrowed'.
