Have noticed with my recent bookings that my membership number is shown on my bookings but not my status.

Is this new? And why is it so? For all of the bookings I have, I will be SG so there is no problem with it changing downwards before travel. I think is would be especially important on overseas trips.

Anyone else noticed this? And more importantly is there a reason for it occurring?

Flew with QF last week, had status on the booking.

Maybe they are moving to a system where the status is only applicable when you board (It is now anyway) but to make it less confusing? I don't know ... will let you know on next trip!

This is on the e-tickets. Am flying Friday night and will see, and report what is on the BPs.

The BPs will show your current status when you fly (as pulled off the system).

AFAIK e-tickets only display your FF number, and not status.

From an e-ticket .pdf sent in February:
Frequent Flyer Number

QF 0123456 Frequent Flyer Platinum/Oneworld Emerald
From an e-ticket .pdf sent in August:
Frequent Flyer Number

QF 0123456
My most recent .pdf showing status is from June.

I had two issued today and they both had FF Gold one them... they weren't the pdf's though just the e-ticket email.

Well have just checked in and the status seems to be in a larger sized font than my name. Logged in a minute early and checked in exactly on time and was still sequence number two. Glad to know there is at least one other keen flyer on the plane tomorrow night.

Got 6D so will stick with that.

Yes the font has been large most of this year - presumably to make it easier for the staff policing the Business Lounge access.

Over the years, as early as I have OLCI, I've never been able to get SEQ 1 !! Maybe this is the system opening the flight for check in? I've had 2 lots of times ...
