Worse than feet on bulkheads

This thread has gone backwards a little ... for a while there it was ramping-up the disgusting quite well, but now it's just people in shoes doing stuff we've all seen people doing pretty commonly since forever ... bring back the pictures of the bare feet with the mouldy toenails being dunked in the soup at the buffet table, I say!

Puking potential 🤮 is and can be important

Sometimes its best to just keep quiet, esp if you are on an airport train, and these people doing this, have got nothing to loose, but you have a flight to catch.
Brisbane trains (apart from the city centre ones) have an honesty system, and its just the Translink gocard reader, on a pole, and anyone can free ride, they play it, usually the train has got no staff roaming around.
If the people you call out, cause you trouble, ie, pull a knife, or something, its you who are the looser, as you do not have a self defence weapon, as you would need to clear dom aviation security.
If you cause them trouble, they might pull the emergency stop red button box, and the train stops, thus, you will loose your flight.
Just keep quiet, do not look, do not say anything.
Brisbane (Airport) trains, are not specific for airport services, so the "clientele" are anyone/can be anyone.

I got on an express Central Coast-Central service very early the other morning on my way to the airport. Downstairs every seat in the carriage had a sleeping high-viz wearing passenger and on the seat next to them was a large backpack, preventing anyone sitting there. One had a gigantic skateboard as well.
We get off lightly flying.

Think I would steer clear of this one. Knives, drug affected who knows - so not worth it.. I am impressed by the cleanliness of that train though..
Like the artistic juxtaposition of the Scottish hamburger sign…too
Yup, it'd be a lot safer to just let some things to be, even the annoying ones. Translink trains are the ones were I've spotted ankle bracelets out in the community which does hint on the wearer being no stranger to causing trouble or responding with force, if they want to. And some appear stoned (to a layman's eye) which can make them unpredictable, as well.

Rather go to that dinner with your family / friends or catch your flight.

@Seat0B - I agree with the comments above.

Yes we were also very impressed at the standard of the train and its overall presentation. It was very nice and a big improvement from a few years back. Quite pleasant to ride - except if you think about the filth from people’s shoes that you might be sitting in 🤢.
And as I just posted before I read your comment, I’ve long since given up challenging these people out of fear for my personal safety. So totally agree with you.

I wish I was brave enough to call it out but always slightly worried I will get abused or have my face rearranged as a result.
I do a judgement call before I make a comment eg slightly OT there was a guy just walking between cars today on a major road and he looked so spaced out and was glaring at me as if he wanted me to toot him to get out of the way but I just let him wander along and waited

It would give you such a fright you might spill your hot coffee.
I suspect it might even … deep breath … motivate me to recline! It might break some bones but hopefully not break the skin, so you’d not get any blood on you.
Although the stereotype fits with an ultra low-cost carrier, so seats might not do that …
