At the moment I am trying to figure a good cost effective way of organising a GLOBJ fare out of Fiji. Enquiries have led me to the fact that there is a Qantas desk at Nadi airport. I wonder if anyone else has organised such a fare out of Fiji before - or even has recent experience of maximising the value of the GLOBX product.

A DGLOB34 ex Fiji currently costs ~FJD12,199 (≈AUD7,500) - (Note the FJD exchange rate is very volatile.)

Not out of NAN.A very unadventurous one out of SYD.Wanted to go to IPC via PPT so had to be a DGLOB.

Thanks for the info. So hard to find out what the Qantas desk at NAN airport can or will do. Have been PM'd a possible Fijian TA will let the forum know what transpires.

dragonman... how did you go with QF desk at NAN... any updates??

Hmm - I am considering one of these next year for a trip to the UK and HKG with a possible trip to ATL thrown in as well..

Decided to go with a OW award RTW instead. Will almost definitely go with a AGLOB26 organised through the QF desk in NAN next year - had quite a bit of feedback on the relative ease of the process. Would prob fly to NAN and take it to the desk - although just calling them seems to work fine too. PM me if you want names, numbers etc.

In the end it will come down to the Fiji Dollar, and whether I can persuade myself that a the GLOB is better than say a DONE4.

I certainly am considering another boring one out of SYD.Reason is that on a DONE* you have to have 1 stop in australia on the way out and one on way back which seriously limits add ons plus no restriction on PER,DRW.
