I've an allergy to bees. My doctor has stated that it is not a medical condition. Said at least I know and have epipens & etc., unlike most who don't know they have an allergy.

Have you got a specific response from the credit card provider? Some will cover pre-existing conditions if you perform a screening check. This might work out cheaper than a separate policy.
Unfortunately they said I'd have to take out an entirely new policy
