New 3x weekly service commences December 16.

I'm actually a little surprised it took this long to launch this service.

Schedule
MEL 615 NAN 1215
NAN 1315 MEL 1750

Im guessing they were waiting for the A321N for this, probably just out of range for the older series.

Not sure how they are pulling back the extra seats the NEO offers. Perhaps they will block seats.

Having a look no extra seats have been granted.

I think SYD was daily A320 so 186 x 7 = 1302.

6 x weekly (3 MEL/3SYD) A321neo = 1392.

Was there an extra 90 seats available under the bilateral?

Bit hard to find any concrete info around current numbers allocated to each carrier so one would assume they perhaps had 100 seats up their sleeve.

The Jetstar Fiji service has been operated by Auckland crews, AKL-SYD-NAN, then overnight before returning the next day.

Would be good to see the bilateral expanded a bit. Jetstar should be daily from both two cities. Melbourne could be double daily in winter, would certainly be a big boost for the Fiji tourism industry.
