One third of Jetstar flights delayed | Travel News | News.com.au

NEARLY one in three Jetstar flights were delayed last month, Government figures show.

The figures, released by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government today, show the number of late Jetstar flights rose from around 23 per cent in May to 30 per cent in June.

Well i was lucky last weekend-2 JQ flights and both departed on time and arrived early.

33%? I'm batting at 100% here for either significantly delayed (>2hrs) or cancelling altogether in advance, and being rebooked on another flight leaving at OMG-o'clock. Or both.

I'd love to have only a third stuffed up.

*opens wallet, credit card melts and moths fly out* drat still have to put up with them for another year or 2.

Jetstar says its on-time performance deteriorated due to poor weather and maintenance issues.
You really do have to feel sorry for Jetstar. After all they are experiencing events which do not affect any other airline....

JohnK,

You of all people should understand because of the treatment that you get from Qantas compared to everyone else.......

Does not affect Air NZ as their planes are specially equipped for the ZQN flights, for example.

Sorry Bill but I do not understand. One third of Jetstar flights delayed and they blame weather and maintenance. Every airline would need to maintain their aircraft and the 2 major players with domestic routes did not experience the same weather delays. Unless Jetstar is flying routes the others are not flying. So what is really wrong with Jetstar?

I think you will find the Jetstar novelty has worn off. People are fed up with the service, or lack thereof, and they are being more vocal about it.
