Hi,

I'm flying out tomorrow morning. The virgin website says for business class I am allowed 7k standard piece + 7kg garment bag + personal item.
I've got a suitcase and garment bag that are suitable sizes, however I've had no luck getting information about the personal item.

I have a 43cm x 36cm x 6cm laptop briefcase with straps. Is this "thin" enough? I've called Virgin twice about it. The first call I was just told repeatedly "if it fits in the overhead storage, it'll be fine" and the second I was told I'll need to speak with Virgin personnel on the day. No info about overhead storage size.

Cheers,
Appreciate any input

You'll have no issues, should be all fine. I regularly travel with a rollaboard and similar sized laptop satchel.
I usually scoot my laptop satchel under the seat in front of me (if I'm not in rows 1 or 3) to leave a bit of extra room overhead for others.

Totally, fine especially in business class!
Good to know!

Interesting. Unfortunately, I selected row 1 lol.

Thanks both for the input!
