Interesting new offer from Velocity, although it may be targeted. I tried to register and was told I'm not eligible.

Book a Virgin Australia flight by 21 September and fly by 11 December 2022 to earn 2,500 bonus points each way.

If eligible, you would need to register first on the Velocity website:

Would appear it’s connected to those who have not flown at all or very little recently. I have only done one VA flight since the pandemic and got it. All family members who have not flown at all have it.

I will be interested to see what offers they start throwing at me when I let my Gold status lapse next year.

Not surprising I'm not eligible as I've recently maintained Gold after the status extensions...

I received it and registered but not likely to use it. I’m running running down my VFF pts balance.

Use your points to book a non-Reward seat and then earn the bonus points at the same time?

Probably not the most useful use of points. There’s sufficient for a QR or SQ J flight somewhere.

I also got the QF 2x bonus points offer through PC!
