Qantas airfares

Could someone more savvy than me answer this question.
Qantas are having a “deal” travelling Adelaide to Cairns $291 one way during the time we wish to travel (around the 1st Feb 2023). I had a fare watch arrive this morning for $479 return Adelaide to cairns. (1st Feb) Cannot find anything resembling their advertised prices.
How does this work?

In any event, $479 return sounds cheaper than $291 each way…

Yes the ad says from $291 but there are no fares at all for that price. Yes the $479 is cheaper but that doesn’t exist either

I think $479 is the jetstar price. Looks like their process is picking that up.

Ok, I feel like a dill now. Of course it is Jetstar because it was a direct flight and Qantas don’t have direct flights to Cairns
With their Explore Australia sale I suppose they also mean Jetstar.

I don't think it includes Jetstar, otherwise it would be anti-competitive?

But could you find a Qantas flight Adelaide to Cairns for $219?
