Status credits applied after anniversary dates

Hello , I am 60 status credits off obtaining platinum with anniversary date 31stJuly . I earned these on 25th July on a Qatar flight . They are yet to be credited . What happens if they miss being credited before 31st? Is membership obtained retrospective ? Opinions or advice on rules are welcome . Thanks

SC's apply to the membership year in which they were earned, so even if they post after 31st July they will apply to this membership year, and you should earn WP.

Nothing will happen immediately. At some point in August if there are no more points it will go down a Tier but not immediately on 1Aug.

Tell us more, please. If you earn the bonus right before the FF year end but do the selection in the new year, which year do they get applied to?

Also applies to Green tier status credits as well for anyone interested. They function in a similar way to the loyalty bonus - 90 days to select with them applying within the membership year that the selection was made.
