How soon before domestic flight can you enter melb domestic Q club

Hello, I am travelling home from melbourne next week and work office is closed due to covid.

I only have carry on and qantas flight leaves at 19:15.

Are their any restrictions on entering qantas club as a member around 9am and working from there for the day?

I believe you can enter any time on the day of travel.

Planes and airport lounges are my happy place for uninterrupted work. Got more done on QF35 just now than i would have in 8hrs in the office.

(that is when I'm not trying to fix a BA flight cancellation)

Whilst I haven't spent 10 hours in the QP, I have during day trips headed straight to the lounge on landing and got myself a coffee before heading into MEL CBD.

This was using my return boarding pass to get in, and that would have been around 9 hours before departure. So no issues what so ever going there at 9am for a 7pm departure.

Or that guy in China who bought a flex 1st ticket and would rock up to the lounge and rebook the flight to a future day while he was there eating and drinking. Rinse and repeat.

They eventually cottoned on to him….

When I was SG I once had a day trip to Melbourne for a 2 hour meeting. Arrived at 9am, headed straight to the QP using my return boarding pass, left at 1pm, back at 4pm.

Lounge dragon had a comment "you're so early", otherwise no issues. And the QP makes a great office.
